10.8.12 - Monday: Project was assigned. Tried figuring out what topic we wanted to do.

10.9.12 - Tuesday: Organize everyone and divided up the research equally. Owen is in charge of the geologic research. Mary is in charge of specific science research, Himansu is in charge of the explanation for the model, the bibliography, and the fun facts. Riley is in charge of the historic research and along with finding pics, videos, interviews, anything we need to include in our video.

10.10.12 - Wednesday: We started our research. We got our rough idea of our website and and Mary took notes about Kobe.

10.11.12 - Thursday:Today we took more notes on a video and worked and finished part of the story board.

10.12.12 - Friday: We learned how to use a video editing software and we are taking more notes on Kobe as well as getting some fun facts.

10.15.12 - Monday: Tweaked our storyboard to give it more detail, get it in depth of what our video was going to look like. We also worked on our research..well..most of us....

10.16.12 - Tuesday: Looked up background music while doing more research about Kobe. Worked on other things for class like our labs.

10.17.12 - Wednesday: Owen finished the beginning part of our video, hooked up the music too!! :D Working on more labs, and doing more note taking.

10.18.12 - Thursday: Did our 3rd lab on volcanic activity in class. Did more research. In the middle of finishing the script.

10.19.12 - Friday: Finished most of the research, except for Himansu who was doing fun facts (basically historical research...).

10.22.12 - Monday: Script is still being created. Website is getting updated on a daily basis. Himansu is done with the facts, it's just that he got them on his computer, which he forgot to bring.

10.23.12 - Tuesday: Nothing much we did, just worked on script, and ideas for our model.

10.24.12 - Wednesday: Barely got time to work because of the in class essay (and this is not some excuse Mr. Weaver...)

10.25.12 - Thursday: Script, and filmed part of our video with the script we had done.

10.26.12 - Friday: Realized we haven't even done our model yet, so working over the weekend to get it done.

10.28.12: Owen and Himansu cam over to Mary's house to get the model finished, the video mostly done, the website in working order, and the script finished

10.29.12 - Monday: Working on the finishing touches of the script. Video taping again. Working on model.

10.30.12 - Tuesday: Worked on our model. It's a model of the different plate boundaries. Almost finished with it. Done with script

10.31.12 - Wednesday: Filmed another earthquake scene prior to the one shot at Mary's house. Worked a little on the model.

11.1.12 - Thursday: Watched a dramatic movie on the documentation of Krakatoa. So we didn;t have time to do our project.

11.2.12 - Friday: Half of us filmed while half of us stayed in the class. Himansu and Riley went to Ives for filming. Mary continued with the model and the website. Owen worked on editing video, then went to Ives for filming. Finished models...FINALLY!! Working on the website to perfect it. Almost done though!

11.3.12 - Saturday: Mary's done with the website!!!! Just need Himansu's facts in and then it's complete. Need to have the group check over to see everything is ok.

11.5.12 - Monday: Worked on our rock labs, so we had no time for our project. Owen in 6th period (Owen, Mary, and Himansu are all in yearbook class, but normally if we had nothing to do it would be a study hall period) Owen looked at the website and gave Mary suggestions to fix the site. Mary was working on editing the script to make the video flow better. Hopefully we get all of our video done by Friday!!!

11.6.12 - Tuesday: Filmed. Improvised the script a bit.

11.7.12 - Wednesday: More filming. After school, Mary modified the website.

11.8.12 - Thursday: Updated website daily for our construction log to be complete. Worked on our recordings. re-shot the scene where Riley was being pulled out of the water.

11.9.12 - Friday: Redid our recordings with the help of Sutter's studio headphones. Shot a commercial break, because Himansu wanted to.

11.10.12 - Saturday: Even though we didn't meet up. We had jobs to do over the weekend, well 3 of us did Himansu still needs to email me the facts about Kobe. Both Owen and Mary were working on the video to see if anything needs to be added to cut from the video. Mary took pictures of the model and sent them to Owen. Riley had no jobs to do, because it didn't seem like he needed to do something anyway.

11.12.12 - Monday: HOLIDAY!!!

11.13.12: - Tuesday: Frantically working to get our video finished... O.o.....STILL NOOOOOO FUN FACTS!!!! (AHEM HIMANSU......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

11.14.12 - Wednesday: Project Time.

Our Plan:

From 10.9.12 - 10.19.12 we were researching, so it gave us 1.5 weeks to do it.We also will be working on our story board for our video. We are also going to start cranking up our website.We also finished up our story board.

From 10.19.12 - 10.26.12 we worked on our diagram for our video going to be shot the week after. So that gave us a week to work on it, and worked on our story board. We also finished up our story board.

From 10.26.12 - 11.2.12 we started shooting the video, and working and editing on the website.

From 11.2.12 - 11.8.12 we edit our video shot the week before, and finished our website.

From 11.8.12 - 11.13.12 we touched up everything from video to website to presentation, making it reflect our best work!

What actually happened...

Ok, so we were on schedule for the 1st week, but unfortunately, we got behind in our work, so we crammed as much stuff as possible into other weeks when we were supposed to work on something else. So instead of all of us filming our parts at the same time, we split, so half of us were in class doing what needed to be done, while the others went to film their part. By 11.2.12, we have gotten the script done, the models done, and the website done. The website that Mary created will be edited over the remaining time for the project.
